These terms cover your use of ScoreLoop (the app) and scoreloop.in (the website), including the live score viewer. By using either, you agree to these terms.

What ScoreLoop is

ScoreLoop is a free tool for scoring informal cricket matches — gully cricket, box cricket, weekend and local games — and sharing the live score with others. It's built for casual, unofficial play. It isn't an official scoring system for any league, board, or competitive tournament, and match data recorded in the app isn't an official record of anything.

No account required

You don't need to register or log in to create, score, or watch a match. A match is identified by its match code, and scoring access is controlled by a scorer token stored on your device — not by a user identity. Because there's no account, we have no way to verify who created or scored any given match.

Using the service

You agree to use ScoreLoop only for its intended purpose — scoring and following cricket matches — and not to:

• Enter content in team or player names that is abusive, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful
• Attempt to access another match's scoring controls without its code and token
• Interfere with the app or website's normal operation, including automated scraping or abuse of the live score endpoints

Match data

Team names, player names, and scoring data you enter are stored so the match can be scored and followed live, and remain available afterward as a scorecard. You're responsible for what you enter. See our Privacy Policy for how this data is handled, and how to request its deletion.

No warranty

ScoreLoop is provided as-is and free of charge. We do our best to keep scoring accurate and the live viewer available, but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — a small team runs this. Don't rely on ScoreLoop for anything where an incorrect or unavailable score would cause real harm (e.g. an officially adjudicated match with prize money riding on the result).

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ScoreLoop and its creators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or website, including disputes between players or teams about a match's outcome or recorded score.

Advertising

The website, including the live score viewer, shows ads served by Google AdSense; the app shows ads served by Google AdMob. See our Privacy Policy for details on what that involves.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. If we do, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use ScoreLoop after a change means you accept the update.
