ScoreLoop Features
Everything the app does, in plain terms โ no marketing fluff, just what each part is actually for.
ScoreLoop is built around one idea: one person scores the match, everyone else just watches. Here's how each part of the app supports that.
๐Quick Scoring
For a casual game where all anyone actually cares about is the total โ runs, wickets, overs. Set your two teams, pick overs, and start tapping runs as they happen. There's no roster to fill in and no player stats being tracked in the background, so it stays fast even when the game itself is chaotic.
๐Detailed Scoring
For matches where individual performance matters โ who's batting, who's bowling, how many each player scored. Detailed Mode tracks a full roster, rotates strike automatically, records dismissal types ball by ball, and builds proper batting and bowling figures as the match goes, without you doing any of the arithmetic yourself.
๐ฑLive Score Sharing
Every match โ quick or detailed โ gets a live score the moment it starts. Anyone with the match code can open it in a browser and watch the total, overs, and current batters update in real time, without installing the app or creating an account. This is the part we built ScoreLoop around: so the scorer never has to stop and announce the score to anyone.
๐Match Code
Every match gets a short code the moment it's created. Share it over WhatsApp, a group chat, or just say it out loud โ anyone who has it can follow along at scoreloop.in/live. There's nothing to install and nothing to sign into.
๐ทQR Sharing
The same code doubles as a QR code, for two different situations: hand someone your phone to scan and they're watching the live score in seconds, or use it to hand scoring itself over to a different phone mid-match โ useful when the person scoring has to step away and someone else needs to pick it up instantly.
๐Scorecard
Once a match is done, it doesn't disappear. The full scorecard stays available โ ball-by-ball history, fall of wickets, final batting and bowling figures โ so you can settle an argument about who actually took the last wicket, or just look back at how the match went.
๐ซNo Login Required
There's no account to create anywhere in ScoreLoop, for the person scoring or the people watching. Access to a match is controlled by its code, not by who you are โ which means anyone can follow a match within seconds of getting the link, with nothing standing in the way.
